DNA & friends: Futuretro Interactive Light Sculptures: Animated Time-lapse. (sounds by aphex twin)
DNA & FRIENDS: ANIMATED TIME-LAPSE
The link above is to an animated time-lapse video of my living room, showing some of my Futuretro interactive light sculptures.
I took hundreds of photographs and edited them together in order to create this glitchy, dreamlike depiction of my living room.
Check out my website if you would like to see more of my art: http://www.futuretro.co.uk

TIME-LAPSE: CREATION OF LIGHT SCULPTURE: NATURESYNTH 3
The link below is to a time-lapse video of the creation of my new light sculpture, 'Naturesynth 3'.
I hope you enjoy it...
TIME-LAPSE: CREATION OF LIGHT SCULPTURE: NATURESYNTH 3
Naturesynths are Carbon Balanced interactive light sculptures that are created from waste materials. They are made by heat-sculpting discarded offcuts of acrylic, which are then combined with wood and metal to create unique representations of nature’s energy. By recycling scrapped materials to create Naturesynths I reduce waste and energy consumption. Naturesynths are inspired by the natural world, dreams and inner visions. My hope is that the sculptures can spread positive energy through an environmentally friendly and sustainable creative process and help to raise awareness of the necessity for humans to live in harmony with nature.
For every Naturesynth that is sold a donation is made to an environmental charity to help conserve threatened ecosystems.
My sculptures are Carbon Balanced; I offset any unavoidable carbon emissions that are associated with their creation.
(The Music in this video is: 'Take Time', by The Books).
I hope you enjoy it...
